WTF is spirited away another lame english dub!?
Well here are the other films nominated with Spirited Away:
ANIMATED FEATURE FILM
ICE AGE
LILO & STITCH
SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON
SPIRITED AWAY
TREASURE PLANET
If you ask me, The only real battle Spirited Away has is Lilo & Stitch. But even then, Spirited Away still has a higher percentage of winning since alot of critics enjoyed Spirted Away over Lilo & Stitch.

While Di$ney will surely pitch for Lilo and Stitch, from a business perspecitive it makes more sense for Di$ney to push for Miyazaki to win over their own nominated house titles (Lilo and Treasure Planet). Lilo is already out on DVD and sales are steady and probably would only see a moderate bump as a result of a win. Treasure Planet won't see a release for another few months, and sales are going to be ify due to the critic bashing this film recieved--Much like Titan A.E. this film is more about visual niftiness which is why it probably the only reason it got a nomination--so it seems the least likely to win. However, a win for Spirited Away, which is part of Disney's next large release of animated DVDs here in the U.S. (Kiki, Castle in the Sky, and Spirited Away), would definately allow for a higher amount of sales for Di$ney due to the press exposure.
And for those of you who don't like Disney and haven't seen Lilo and Stitch yet, give it a shot, I think you'll be surprised by this one. Disney got it right with this one for a change.

I don't hate Disney, I mean, I still like Aladdin and I thought New Groove was ok (John Goodman is the man)...
I just don't care for Shrek.
Enough about that movie.
Spirited Away is beautiful, and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

I really hope Spirited Away wins, one of the main reasons being I can shove it in my anti-anime friend's face. Even if it doesn't win, some local theatres might pick it up since it was nominated. Still haven't seen it.
THE REST OF THIS POST IS MY PERSONAL OPINION.
Ice Age was just ok.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron was pretty good.
Lilo & Stitch was pretty good.
Never seen Treasure Planet, don't want to.
