Does Ah! My Goddess have any action or cool magical spells in it? If so, this idea would work.

Anime: Ah! My Goddess

I think this would be fitting because of the whole goddess idea here.

Anyhow, to answer your question, the original OAV series, while being mucho kick ass, does not contain much in the way of action or "super duper magic spells". The more recent AMG movie (which I haven't seen, I need to get around to it) may contain more of what you're looking (but like I said, I haven't seen it), as well as being better quality and easier to find.

The new one does have a lot more magical spells effects, as well as much better animation. Possibly worth considering, but I'm not familiar with the song.

Ah My Goddess was never about fancy spells. Mostly because you don't really have any serious fighting going on. So most of the spells are simple things that don't give you a lot of flash and action for it. Only once really in the Movie but that's about it, even the final battle lacks amazing magical feats. I love the show and movie though.

You can always use editting to make it fit the tempo as well.

For those who have not heard the song, it's very fast-paced and pumpin'. It would be interesting with OMG if done well, due to the song being so fast, an the series being so not.
