Hey mwalker,
Videos should not be entered into the catalog until they are completed. If you want to have 1 or 2 people give you some constructive criticism as you complete your video, that is fine; just give it to them privatly. But mass distributing a partially completed video is dumb. It makes you look like someone who can't complete a video or get it right the first time so they have to re-tweak it and re-tweak it and re-tweak it again. None of the good, well respected video creators would ever enter or mass distribute a video that was not complete.
The Golden Donut rule for uploading videos will be one upload per video; that's it. You should upload your final, completed video only. You don't get a second upload to replace it with. (Well, maybe I will implement it so that you can have the possibility to re-upload after a year or so of the initial upload because of the changing methods of video compression with better quality, but that will be at least a year after the Donut opens.)
So, to sum up: Partially completed videos should not be entered into the catalog.
Thanks again and have fun!! ^_^

Hey Phade,
I entered my incomplete video so I could point people to it in order for them to read about it rather than explain it over and over again. I don't put the beta downloads up though. If that's a problem, by all means get rid of it. I'll live.

Nope. That's against the rules.MistyCaldwell wrote:or you could even develop a healthy social life and then all amv making goes on the back burner
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Hey flint_the_dwarf,
The trick to that is to not tell them what you are working on.
As long as you actually finish the video, that will be fine. I just don't want unnecessary entries cluttering up the database. I have better things to do than to go around cleaning up stuff.
