Which Season, episode, etc. is the best, your favorite, etc.

I've been hearing a lot of things about the Ranma series in various topics, but never one which links together all the Ranma stuff.

I personally have seen seasons one, two and three. And read the first American release graphic novel. Sad so far I know. To this point I would have to say that Ranma season three is my favorite of the seasons (and yes I know the art isn't always as good as season one), but it has two of my favorite episodes..... This may be a spoiler**** although its only season three so I wouldn't worry too much.... but the episode where Ranma actually thinks he's a girl, and the episode where ukyo dresses up as a girl and the four girl cookout occurs.*****

All in all I enjoyed watching the third season more, although a few episodes weren't as good, and season one did have the most consistent quality. I also loved the first graphic novel. At this point I am going to get all of Ranma, with time of course, but I want to know what is your favorite season and why? Are the OAV's really that good? Are the movies and the last two seasons really that bad? (I've heard mixed views)

I've only seen 2 Ranma eps...let's see...one about Ukyo and the Crepe king and the golden okonomiyaki...and one about a magic bandaid that made Ranma all girl crazy. I was at my friend's, who told me about Ranma. Well, told me about all anime. I've read graphic novels (English translated) 1-4. That's all. I love the series, though.

Ok Ive got everything domestically released and dubbed. With the end of the 3rd season the artwork starts getting worse. The 6 and the 7th season are a big waste of money the artwork is horrid and the stories suck. The oavs are ok my favorites being shampoo and the curse of the contrary jewel and Faster kasumi kill kill. The movies are pretty pathetic and I would not watch those until you watched the tv series. I think my favorite Ranma episode is the one where Nabiki steals Ranma from Akane and keeps trying to get her to buy him back.

I liked the episode where shemale Lum guest starred and had sex with both versions of Ranma, and then Akane got mad so she kicked shemale Lum and shemale Lum's pseudo-penis flew off and Panda-Genma ate it.

OK let me ask a question this way....

Are seasons six and seven of Ranma compared to the rest of Ranma analogous to what Tenchi in Tokyo was to the rest of Tenchi?

Where the Ranma movies to Ranma analagous to what the Tenchi movies where to Tenchi?

That's all I will say for now. 8)

No the good episodes are few and far between but they are there. The first and second Tenchi movies were great in my oppinion you could compare the last tenchi movie to the ranma movies.
