My God...

I was reading the forum over AnimeNewsNetwork.com. It seems there was a review about Noir that gave it less then favorable scores. Which it fucking deserves since it's a piece of crap anime.

Anyways... The forum conversation basically got into a bunch of "Noir Lovers" wanting ANOTHER! review done because they didn't like the scathing review that was already posted. Then we had the people who didn't like/hated Noir saying the review was fine and Noir is a just a rip-off of a bunch of other animes. Then there were the people who went "a review is a review :\". I am more in that boat, mostly, even though I do hate Noir so...

Anyways, another review WAS written and it's a polar opposite of the original saying "Noir is a exciting action packed intriguing anime.". I wonder how this clears things up, you have two reviews now. One loves it, one hates it. Hmmm? Yeah this clears things up QUITE a bit thank you.

Well it just gives the lovers something to say "SEE IT IS GOOD" and the haters saying "ANOTHER REVIEW SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN BEEN MADE". Blah blah blah blah.

My whole point really goes back to people claiming the show rips off other shows. You have person A saying "I am sick of shows ripping off other shows" and you have person B saying "I am sick of people who constantly say a show is a rip off of another show". Ugh this reminds me of the community surrounding most online games you have the people claiming "cheater" and then the other one saying "I am not a cheater" and then the other one saying "I sick of people who keep saying someone is a cheater" and then you have the actual "cheaters".

So I guess, humans will argue about anything. I guess everyone wants to see things from their view. I could understand why someone may like Noir, but I don't know, I get caught up in the moment from time to time to say "you're stupid for liking Noir". But you know that doesn't get anyone anywhere, but then you also have the people who will say "You're stupid for NOT likiing Noir" and all and stuff. I just.

WE'RE ALL DOOMED GOD DAMNIT. You'll be bickering about who's fault it is for not predicting the asteroid that's about to pummel us into oblivion.

I don't see an arguement here...what i see is an opinion that is valid in its own right and i'm not rebbuttling.

I just thought this topic should go in another forum but since the MODs haven't moved it, i guess i'm wrong.

I personaly watch the anime first, then read reviews, I mean i don't give a fuck what some Nerd with severe arterial trombosis has to say about anything reagarding life, specially anime

I used to read reviews when i was nOOb to anime (I was like 12, 18 now 8) ), then I got annoyed when they said something bad about some anime I was liking so far, then came the insecurity then came anxiety and then................I said, fuck it!, I like the anime so burn me for it if you will!!

And I've mantained that position for long now, and I'm very happy with my anime judging skills, I don't need 2nd opinions why SHOULD I or SHOULDN'T I like a certain anime, I just like non-biased opinions ether good or bad, and it's berry obvious when some traumatized folk is biased

My post was mainly about humans arguing over anything, I was just using the anime as a reference. So it's not really about anime, it just included _Anime_ in it. :O

People will argue over anything and everything. I blame grape-flavored children's cough syrup myself. Why? Because it tastes nasty, so it makes you bitter and cynical from day 1. That, and it's as good an explanation as anything else.

I'm not sure which is better/worse... arguments like you're complaining about Klinky, or the surprisingly long-running discussion on the ML about what makes women's/girl's breasts get larger at a younger age...
