Holy Crap! Cedar Point's Newest Coaster

Post by MistyCaldwell » Tue Jan 28, 2003 11:48 pm

It's called the Dragster and here's some info:

First roller coaster EVER to top 400 feet
First coaster EVER to reach speeds of 120 mph
First “strata-coaster” built on planet Earth

The angle of descent is only 90 degrees (only.... ) which is no different than the Millenium Force but it's going much faster. Cedar Point is my favorite coaster park, me being a coaster buff :D And I can't wait for this one!

King's Island is ok, but I get to go to Cedar Point every May the day before it opens to the public thanks to the Longaberger company (the freak basket people) and I just heard about this one. Last year they had a lame new coaster so they redeemed themsleves.

Does anyone else here love coasters like I do??? :P

Woah, that's intimidating. I've been much more comfortable with rollercoasters after the Giant Drop. Good fun. Best time at coaster park...

Six Flags Over Texas. 60 degrees out, perfect temperature. Texans all freezing to the bone. Hardly any lines at all. Very few people there. I will never forget that.

Worst time...

Six Flags Great America. 107 degrees. 1 hour wait minimum for every single ride dealing with water. 4 hour wait on the best one. And I burn, badly. And we had to be there for at least 6 hours because it was for school. We couldn't leave early or something. So we stood there and burned. Most staying under those suspended mistifiers they had set up all over.

I can't wait to get in line... If you know what I mean. At least it will bring down the lines on the millennium force. But it's gonna be a trip. I've heard that it launches you at over 100MPH. I can't wait. Does Anyone know any sites to get info about it?

That...that's straight fucking down!

I think it's only a matter of time before a coaster gets so extremem that people start getting seriously injured on a regular basis.

I remember coasters built in the Rollercoaster Tycoon game that actually killed the little sim riders...
