You go right ahead. The whole idea of "OMFG dont steal me ideaz!" is
just plain wrong to me. Besides, if I do make any of those it won't be for
a while since I'm currently wrapping up my CB "Superbeast" vid and will
be starting "She Hates Me" to NGE after that. But if you do make one, I
want to be the first to see it. ;D

Alrightly then. Will do. I think I will do Cowboy Bebop first. For two reasons: 1)I Just finished the series, it is fresh in my mind. And 2) I have then entire box set sitting on my harddrive right now. But I have one problem...I heard it was possible to get straight VOB or MPEG-2 files into Adobe Premiere using AVISynth, but even after I put AVISynth into the Plugins folder, it still won't accept the VOB files when I drag and drop.
If anybody knows how to fix this, let me know. After I finish that, I think I'll do Hellsing, I should have all of the DVDs by then, and Hellsing is really fun to make vids to.

Don't use uncompressed DVD frames to make an AMV directly. The finished product will be HUGE. Re encode to AVI first.

Ok...but what compresion should I use when I reincode. I was thinking MPEG-4 at a really really high kbs, like 6000 or something. Would that be good?? Basically, I want it to be really high quality with no video errors. I know that Adobe doesn't like DivX 5.0.2 Pro Codec, it crashes always when using it. uhm...any suggestions would be nice...Thanx again

Try the X Vid MPEG-4 codec. Some of my posse swear by it.

Alright good...I'm glad you said that about theMPEG-4, thats what I've been using. And so far they look pretty much perfect at 6000 kbs. I'm clipping every Cowboy Bebop Ep of all the parts I think would be "AMV" material. lol...I'm up to Ep 9 now. And Im very happy.
