Along time ago, back in the avatar thread, we discussed why "lemon" is used to describe sexual fan fictions, or sexual parts of fan fictions. Nobody really knew why. So, today, I was going through my collection, and found my most favorite, most sentimental hentai series, Cream Lemon. Inside the DVD box, was this article I had put in about a year ago. Cream Lemon, the show, grew to be so popular (It's still sold today. How do you think I got it?), that anything sexual, when handled with taste, was known as "cream lemon." It got so popular, that sexual matters in fan fictions started being referred to as "lemons." Also, this isn't just regular hentai, okay? It's a great love story, and is worth checking out.

Good information, Double O. I think I'm going to have to check that out just to understand why it's made its way into anime-related lingo.

Well, it's kindof hard to watch the beginning. A young brother and sister play "doctor." When they grow up, their feelings for eachother grow. They don't want to do anything, because it's incest, but they eventually wind up having sex when mom is away. Mom comes home early and walks in on them, and that's where the plot begins. It has a happy ending that tells you that it isn't disgusting.

Hell, that's THE old school hentai. I caught an eyeful of that back in the H-room at the first AWA, and it was considered really dang old then. (Played opposite "Pop Chaser".)

FYI...the first "Project A-ko" film was originally intended to be one of the "Cream Lemon" series (they didn't all have the same characters or concepts, IIRC) but eventually got scrapped when all the humor and violence took over. All that's really left of the original idea was that inexplicable scene of B-ko bathing and contemplating making C-ko her "special" friend.

I'm pretty sure there are two others associated with it as well. If I could only remember their names.

0090, the Cream Lemon series was the Hentai I was talking about that I couldn't remember the name to! Thanks for the reminder! ^_^
