Can't say. I was strange and wierd and an outcast on the social ladder before I got into anime. Then I moved up a step when I became somehwat of a class clown. After I went to highschool I went back down to the bottom of the ladder again.
Now that I'm otaku and have roughly 50 DVDs of anime, the subject of anime I never really bring up unless someone else brings it up, wants to borrow a DVD, or is at my house and wants to watch a movie.
And when they want to watch a movie. . . . That's when they look like this:
But my DVD collection cannot compare to most others', and no DVD collection can top my next door neighbor's. Although the collection is only about .01% anime(which is mostly Sailor moon because of her daughter) her DVD collection has over 1000 DVDs, and she keeps buying them every month. If there was a movie made, she has it. Her basement is nothing but a home theatre system(including a projector + screen) and LOTS of shelves of DVDs. . . . She has DVDs I've never even heard of, and some DVDs that I didn't know were made into DVDs. . . Like Merlin or The Island of Dr. Moroe(sp.). She also has DVDs that should have never been made, Like Barney, Animorphs, and Power Rangers thanks to her youngest Daughter. . .

In the anime world kind of expectations, I would say that I am normal, or more less 'average'. I've seen about 20-30 anime Movies/series in my life... I, of course, think this is too low and strive everyday for more knowledge and money of/for anime.
