what do you do when you can't find the right song, or have trouble just getting an AMV idea together?

I think of another idea, and if the original pops back into my mind it usually works itself out then.

I've always got enough ideas to go around. The strongest ones are the ones I actively pursue source material for, although "Yuji's Defense" came about after I already bought the first volume of Blue Gender.

Anyway, I always start with the song first. It's easier to find an anime for a song than to find a song for an anime. I have no shortage of ideas but for

Let it sit, eventually the next thing will come to me, generally this doesn't happen when making the video save for the instrumental when I just use trial and error. but for actual planning I'll just let it sit a while and eventually it'll come to me.
