btw wasnt ther e a techno music group that actually had their entire video animated in anime? I know it was in the US but I forgot whe name of the group and song. Dmnait, Well I liked that one because it was an actual aniem music video. As in a music video made with anime.

Regarding that Daft Punk video, the one that got played on MTV a lot in the past year (can't recall the name of it but you all know which one I'm talking about), was that a real music video?
What I mean is, is the video actually an original creation, the scenes in it created just for the video, or did they come from some pre-existing anime? If they were original, was the whole video a knowing wink/nod to the AMV subculture that's pretty much based out of this site (fact is fact), or is it a parody of AMVs? I mean look at it. It's fun, but it's all a little cheesy.
Or, if the scenes in this video actually came from some anime that's already out there, and if so, was it made by a Daft Punk fan or by someone hired by the band who saw making an AMV as a cheap alternative to shooting a new video?
Just something I've always been curious about. I really don't know who's behind this video or what their motives were.

Oooh, lots of Kenny fans! VegettoEX and I had tons of fun when they came and played at our university. Very nice show, and god they have energy.

I love that videoCaTaClYsM wrote: my all time favortie vid is paul simons 'you can call me all'. If you've seen it you know why I like it. It was actually pretty popular for its time, you may be able to find it on Win MX, I have it on a beta tape but I needed to download it after my player crapped out. (btw it is a pretty old video.)
