Anyone every seen an anime called Unico?

I've never seen the sub but the dub is fine. I too have it and the second one on original VHS as decrepid as they are. The old woman with the potato nose used to scare me and Katey is just irritating, I know her song off by heart even after all these years.

Has anyone ever seen Little Nezha(pronounced nighja)?

There are no subtitled versions of Unico. Here's the thing: There are three Unico movies. The first one (Black Cloud, White Feather) was never dubbed into English. The other two (The Fantastic Adventure of Unico(the one I've seen) and The Island of Magic) are dubbed in English.

Oh! Before I go, is there anyone planning on doing a Unico AMV. I realize that they are hard to find and are almost all on VHS, but I just want to ask this?

You are not alone there. The puppet turning people into block people freaked me out too (and still does today).

A few other things to mention:

1. I have seen Unico being used as AMV footage in Why: A Salute to Anime Men and in a "various anime" video at Animazement 2002 set to Aqua's "Happy Boys and Girls" (no, it wasn't the same video that was a hit at Otakon 2001 and AWA 7; it was a completely different video).

2. Since the original Unico manga was done by Osamu Tezuka, any idea if his usual "stock characters" appear in this anime (as in various characters from Tezuka's works playing different characters in different Tezuka titles)?

thats the fucking show I saw!
I saw that creepy ass anime a LOOONg itme ago. there were all these freaky blue monsters that kept trying to eat unicos horn or something. I dont remember a lot. But yeah that pic jogged al ong forgotten part of my memory
