Thinking of doing a tribute to AMVs

Song: "You got the music if you" - New Radicals
Anime: Excel, Gundam, Trigun, Bebop, possibly more

What do you think? The idea is still in its infancy, so I don't have each scene prepared yet, but I know I'll probably use the Opening to excel (without subtitles or credits, courtesy of DVD1) for some part or another.

Can anyone think of famous anime scenes where people are singing, and is my idea worth doing?
