Kotono iX Megumi

If kotono mitsuishi had all the roles that megumi hayashibara had, and megumi hayashibara had all the roles kotono mitsuishi had. Do you think it would have affected their standings as the most famous voice actresses in Japan? For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, a partial list of their more prominent roles:

Mitsuishi Kotono just kicks more ass, in my book. From Ebichu to Excel to klinky's obsession, Misato, she has vocal range. And talent. Megumi Hayashibara is OK, but she kind of sounds the same in her roles. On the other hand, it's somewhat easier to recognize her.

I too think kotono mitsuishi has more talent. It's pretty hard to go from doing Excel in Excel Saga to Mireille Bouquet in Noir. I also like the type of characters that she plays. Quite a few of her more recent characters are leaders. They are the sort that tell other characters what to do in the anime or just seem 'bolder' and more outstanding than the others. Megumi Hayashibara does have some of those type of roles, but decidedly less experience with them. But I thought about my question a little and decided megumi hayashibara would still get paid more, because she's more apt to flaunt her voice for singing catchy JPOP-ish songs than kotono mitsuishi, and not because of things like voice talent or character selection. Although getting those nice leader-type characters might have boosted her popularity even more. In any case, both are excellent voice actresses and should collaborate more often in my opinion. (Which they've done in maybe Sailor Moon and Pokemon

)
