Too Much of A Good Thing
I've been a country music fan for many years now. I've always liked to listen to it. But recently, my car broke down, and the replacement car's radio only really picks up a country station. Then I started working at the Dollar Tree, and the only station they play is that same country station!! Auugh!!!! I'm starting to hate country music now! If I hear that damn Kenny Chesney song "The Good Stuff" one more time I cannot be held responsible for my actions. And why must they play so much Alan Jackson?!?!? Why the heck can't they play some Mary Chapin Carpenter?!?!

Country wouldn't be so bad if..
1. they were all dead.
2. every single one of their songs didn't have something to do with lovers.
3. every single one of their songs didn't sound exactly the same.
4. someone uninvented the country-style guitar.
5. the women who sing most of the songs didn't have the most annoying voice in the world.

I don't like country music, but I don't bash those who do (I live in AZ. They're likely to shoot ya out here if you bash country music O_o). I feel for ya Jamee...I hate hearing the same style of music over and over and over (Why I stopped listening to the damned radio)
And it could be worse. The radio sation could play nothing but Linkin Park. *shudders at the idea*
So my advice, stop listening to the radio. Worked for me.

Go listen to some Johnny Cash. I just picked up a 'Best of' CD by him and it's not typical country (most of it). I can't refute number 5 at all though, they do have the most annoying voices this side of the universe.Kamoc wrote:Country wouldn't be so bad if..

Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.
