of course there are exceptions to this avril lavigne is a poser...she tries to be punk but fails....linkin park was over played, but mostly because of "in the end"......most rave, trance, house, or other general techno doesn't classify as pop..simply because they will never be popular enought to be in one of thosse bastard pop magazines that say like seventeen or teen, but are marketed directly at you neighborhood 8 year old

I too hate pop, however there are plenty of non pop bands I hate too. Blink 182, Linkin Park, wait, those are both pop, my bad.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Do you want to know WHY you're a drone? It's because you say you don't limit yourself to genres, and yet you don't like pop, and are strongly against it. Would you hate it just the same if every band that you like at this very moment was considered to be the pop music of today, and all the people you detest for liking pop music were wearing your favorite bands' t-shirt? I recommend we end it here, as I want to stop being a dick to you, for you seem to probably have some very nice qualities.
