pisses me off .. hrm ... charecters like shinji (URG I CANT TAKE HIM ANYMORE) .. Tama (all turtles) in love hina ....probrobly more but i just cant think of em off the top of my head.

If a anime tries to be over dramatic and fails at it.

Examples:

Scryed
Noir
Photon

Multiple women getting hot and bothered for one guy. Also any show that fucking has mecha in it unless it's really good. Also any show where some boy or girl has a super power that is "The ultimate power". It's just so cliche, so pandering to idiots. Aren't the japs tired of fucking mechas, I sure as fuck am... :\

Precisely why Azumanga Daioh kicks so much ass. No mechs, no chi, no annoying over-dramatics, just funny comedy. Japan does need to to branch out more, concept wise.

What bothers me about anime is that a lot of series don't have a proper ending. Sometimes, the ending feels rushed and cheap like in Gasaraki. Other times, the series doesn't have an ending at all because the show was cancelled (Legend of Basara) or the creators seemed to have decided not to have one (Kare Kano).
