Need a way to rip video from a game
I have the game "Curse of Monkey island" and I want to make a vid to it, problem is I can't find a way to rip the video, I explored the CD and the files are all obscure ones I cannot for the life of me identify. any ideas, anyone encountered anything like this before?
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I'm afraid I didn't come up with much. They seem to use their own video format called SMUSH. One SMUSH player I found only mentioned Rebel Assault, Full Throttle and The Dig, so I don't know if it'll work w/CMI.

It doesn't support all of the opcodes, either.

(low-res, but what the heck... if anyone's interested)
SCUMM Revisited: http://scummrev.mixnmojo.com/
Seems to rip everything but video...
At the bottom... How to run CMI in a window:

If you have a fast enough CPU&I/O, maybe you could run one of those window video capture programs, but then you'd still have to play through to find all the video.
The ScummVM project seems to contain SMUSH playing code, but I think it'd be a bit of work to get it to output AVIs.
