Taking the plunge that will drive me crazy

Well, it's official. I've currently begun work on a project that will probably destroy what little sanity I've got left and hopefully screw with unsuspecting viewers' heads (and possibly breathe new life into Final Fantasy vids?).

The Plan: A fully animated theatrical trailer for a Final Fantasy VII animated series, which as of yet does not exist.

Using a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Imageready, Adobe Premiere, and the almighty VirtualDub,I plan to create original animation for the trailer. Audio will consist of three tracks: one for music, one for sound effects, and one for voices (which I'm harvesting from English-dubbed anime I own).

So far, I've finished the preliminary storyboard (the entire trailer), and am now moving on to the secondary storyboards (storyboarding each separate clip).

As for voices, this is the entire cast I've picked out (with a reference):

Aeris Gainsborough -- Lisa Ann Beley (Relena Peacecraft)
Barret Wallace -- (yet to be cast)

Red XIII -- Keith David (Goliath from Gargoyles and the Boar God from Princess Mononoke)
Vincent Valentine -- Andrew Philpot (D in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust)
Cid Highwind -- Jeff Harding -- (Kusanagi from X)
Cait Sith -- Scott McNeill (Rattrap on Beast Wars)

Sephiroth -- Brian Drummond (Zechs Merquise)
Rufus Shinra -- David Kaye (Treize Khushrenada)

And thus begins the death of my precious but expendable sanity....
