Hi! Yes, Another Newbie!

Hey! I just joined! I stumbled onto this site so I haven't gotten everything figured out yet, but I'm learning!
I have a very scientific and mathematical friend, and today I attempted to explain anime to her and she just did not get it! It was actually really funny. I tried to explain Inu-Yasha but she kept asking questions like "Why does the well do that? It's impossible!" "His sword changes? Why? Why would his sword need to change?" "Why is this jewel thing so important again?" "Okay, so who betrayed who now?" It was really funny but at the same time very frustrating...Well, that was my random story to share with you guys.
