Well, sort of what Chaos said. If I see a creator has a certain style I find interesting, I download their other videos and see if they're consistent. But when looking for new vids...

Group
Description

Usually I don't download it if it doesn't have some description, because on a 56k modem I don't have enough time to just go and download everything.

I also don't like to watch a video where I haven't seen the anime. And then if the group sounds interesting or I'm sure I like them, I get it regardless of the song. Unless I know it's a bad song.

So how about you, what do you look for in an AMV before you donwload it?

I don't d/l vids from animes I've not seen but plan to so likely that.

Song, Anime. If I like it, I'll look at the creator's other vids.

I've also tended to shy away from vids that use multiple shows, for some reason. The only one of that type that I've ever watched is Tainted Donuts, which I enjoyed immensely...
