Hello editors!
We're getting ready for the 2026 ConnectiCon XXIII FMV Contest! As a reminder, we happily accept entries that use ANY AND ALL forms of media - anime, cartoons, video games, live action and more!Along with a slight change to the category line-up, we have one exciting change this year:
The use of English dub audio is no longer prohibited!
This means that things like tributes to an anime that use dialogue from the English dub of the show (along with background music) will now be accepted! Yay!
If you have any questions about this rule specifically, don't hesitate to reach out.Videos that are chosen as finalists will be screened before an audience at ConnectiCon XXIII on Friday, July 17th, 2026. The audience will vote for their favorite videos and the winners will be featured during the Death Match pre-show on Saturday night.
