Hi everyone, 1st time poster, long time lurker here.
I've started an AMV contest not too far ago would love to share my AMV contest here to the community!

Our AMV contest entry deadline has been moved to FEB 1, so any editors out there still have time!

Our prizes for the entree's is as follows:
1st Place: $100
2st Place: $50
3rd Place: $25

Hey AMV creators!
We wanted to share an important update and clarification for the Ushicon AMV Contest 2026.

Biggest update of the competition and my sincerest apologies for a misunderstanding on my end of the contest, "Staff Choice Awards" requires an attendance to the convention. While this does limit the prize money to only editors who can attend the convention. We do have the "Audience Choice Awards" to those who could not attend our con.

Attendance Requirement (Staff Picks Only):

To be eligible for Staff Picks awards and prizes, entrants must be in attendance at the convention

This includes:

Purchasing a convention badge and Attending the AMV Contest panel

If you can’t attend in person, your submission is highly encouraged and will remain eligible for the "Audience Choice Award."

Exclusive videos are NOT required for this contest.
You do not need to create a brand-new, exclusive edit for this contest. We know many editors plan their projects far in advance, so we’re happy to showcase your best existing work for Ushicon.

To qualify for Staff Picks Award, submissions may include previously released or pre-existing videos, as long as they meet the Freshness Rule: videos must be from January 2025 or newer. Videos older than January 2025 are still welcome and will be eligible for the "Audience Choice Award."

Hey y'all, it's 12 days away from Ushicon’s AMV Contest submission deadline 2/1/2026 11:59CST.

Thank you everyone who’s submitted their forms thus far! I’ve been so excited seeing all the entree’s, and the videos have been so amazing to watch!

A quick jist of the forms info. This contest is not an exclusive, fresh edit submissions are all welcome and will qualify to contest in the “audience choices awards” for prizes; to qualify for “staff pick” prizes, contesters must attend con. This year’s con is pirate themed, so any one cooking on some pirate eske edits, will def get some bonus points!
