Finalists Announcement!!!

Thank you everyone who submitted to the AMV Contest this year! Like I said previously, we received OVER 200 VIDEOS to the contest this year! In all the years I've been part of the AMV Department at AUSA (Pre- and Post-COVID), this smashed all previous records! Thank you all!

As such, when you have 200+ videos, it wasn't easy to judge them and we definitely needed the near month time frame to get through them all! Thank you all for your patience!

With Puppet Master winning Best in Show, another record has been broken as it's the first time a Live Action AMV has won Best in Show at Anime USA!

Regarding the finalist playlists that I make you guys, please give me a few extra days to get that done, as I'm still technically at the con hotel. When I get that completed I'll edit this message and the 3rd post with that link.

This year we also received requests for the list of non-finalists. This year, I'll be providing a Google Doc with the list of them over having to go through 200+ entries to find links for a playlist. This will also be completed once I'm at my home setup.

So, it was the runner-up judging that was going on during the room clear on Saturday night (I'll let yokochan provide the rest, but I can tell you that votes tallying was happening during the Evangelion panel I was hosting).
