Dipping back into AMVs, questions regarding Youtube

So long story short I used to make AMVs and post them on Vine and later Instagram but stopped as I stepped away from social media in general.
I want to start up again likely exclusively on Youtube, but I've never posted AMVs on Youtube before. I'm aware of constant DMCA issues and stuff like that but I'm unsure how I would navigate the landscape seeing as I've never posted before.
If someone could please tell me what I should be aware of before I post so my hard work doesn't go to waste, thanks!

It's a crapshoot. Basically you post it and hope it doesn't get taken down.

But most of the time it'll be flagged and they'll just put ads on your vid, not give you a copyright violation.

Damn. It's ok if it gets ads since I wasn't out to make money off of a video of a couple minutes at most, I just would like to have it stay up. Say it does go down would it be ok if I reupload with the pitch altered? I seem to recall Toei taking down videos that had(?) clips of One Piece from what I think was a reviewer. Is that still a rampent issue? I know how they can be about copyright.

Is nothing sacred?!? Jk jk but seriously that's crazy, I didnt think Tv Tokyo of all people would care about that. Not like I was ever going to make an AMV with Naruto clips... :/
