Is it Character Profile, or Action?

This is more of a curiosity-inspired opinion poll than anything else.

I've seen a few videos where the creator labeled it a character profile. Now, while these videos did indeed focus on one specific character, they involve mostly action scenes and included few, if any, scenes that showed something about the character's personality, who they are and what they stand for, what drives them and what they strive for. In my mind, it is these things that make a character, and thus should be included in a character profile video, but to make the video just action scenes that happen to involve one character is not a character profile, it's an action video.

What do you think? If it focuses on one character, but does nothing to show who that character is and what they are about, is it still a character profile?

In my opinion, a character profile is the creator's way of directing your way of watching the video. Instead of just a mindless action or to the beat edits, they feel that there is a story the video has that they want you to notice.

Character profile fits any catagory, you can easily make a character profile regardless of what you are doing. Take Bebop for example

Use Spike, you can have an action character profile.
Use Faye and you have a drama character profile.
Use Ed and you have a comedy character profile.

Character profile isn't a catagory in itself but a way of denoting that the video focuses on one character soley and doesnt jump about the entire cast.
