About downloading Videos

I know on most part, downloaded Animes are crap quality. And i know its illegal (no shit shirlock)

But couldnt it be considered legal if you downloaded anime, made the video then discarded of the material, as this would act as free promotion?

This has proberly been brought up b4 but hey

No you stupid asshole. It would become even MORE illegal. Not only would you have downloaded illegal anime, you then would have used it without permission for your own and other's amusement, and then threw away the evidence. Free promotion my ass, with all the shitty videos out already, alot of animes are LOSING credibility, rather than gaining it.
