We have been trying to keep up with the submissions, making sure we review them for disqualifications. Check your email inboxes, and you will be informed if your application is accepted or declined.

Remember, Judging begins on December 1st, and completes by December 9th, but the results will not be announced until the convention's AMV Pool Party on Friday. If you win any prizes, you may pick them up at Registration anytime during the convention weekend. If you do not appear, any digital prizes will be emailed to you within two weeks of the end of the convention.

What kind of digital prizes we talking about?

The deadline is tonight (in a few hours). The contest application closes at midnight (ET). If you're overseas, right now its 10:24pm, which means (as of time of posting) you have 1 hour and 36 minutes to submit your application.

Thank you to everyone that made a submission. All applications have been reviewed and emails have been sent out. Results will be posted after the AMV Contest Ends on December 16th. Look for your submission at the Pool on Friday of the convention.

Will there be a stream recorded of the convention and the videos playing at the pool on Friday? I think that would be great! For people who can't make it to the convention, we would love to see how it all looks like

I have some announcements to make:

1. Unfortunately, we are having to move the AMV Contest out of the Pool Area. We have setup a dedicated viewing area, where the AMV Contest will run three times: Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Noon.

2. Afterwards, we will be showing Screener Copies of FREE!! Eternal Summer (English Dub) brought to you by Funimation.

3. All of the results emails are scheduled to go out at 1:00pm ET on Friday, which will let you know if you have won or not (as well as any PNGs of your awards, if we can generate them before the convention...we're getting incredibly busy).

4. After the first showing of the AMV Contest, you may pick up any physical prizes by going through the VIP Line in Registration. This may include prizes from Aniplex and Funimation, as well as Vendors at Holiday Matsuri.

5. Again, Physical Prizes will *not* be mailed. Any prizes not claimed by Sunday at 8:00pm will be donated to Extra Life Charity.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update. Judging is done! I'm editing the videos together now to display in the viewing room. It will be played at least three times, at noon each day. 10 videos were chosen to be played, and six got awards. The awards (which the winners are not going to be announced until 12:45p on Friday) are:

- Best Technical
- Best Romance
- Best Action
- Best Comedy
- Honorable Mention
- Best in Show

You will receive an email roughly 12:45pm on your award, or, if you're coming to Holiday Matsuri, you'll be able to see who won before the emails go out.

After the convention, I will output the full playlist of the participants and winners to YouTube.

Greetings! We have had an unpresedented attendance at Holiday Matsuri 2016, and I have been meaning to sit down and submit this, but I have not had time. I apologize to everyone about not getting this done this afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an application. We had a huge amount of response, and we will be honoring the winners throughout the weekend with repeated showings of the AMV Contest on our TVs throughout the convention tomorrow and Sunday.

If you received an award, you have until 1pm on Sunday to retrieve your award from Registration. After which, we will email out the PDFs of the awards to each of the winners.
