Re: Chobits...
pretty good (like ols quality) but quite frankly chobits scares me.OmniStrata wrote:Any news on this anime?
One of my old guild members, "Freeman" said that I would like this series if I enjoyed "Onegai Teacher".
One word sums up this anime: "Pantsu".
Watch episode 4 of this series and yes you may agree.
I'm still finding it awkward yet quite unique and enjoyable that a team of women made this anime. And yes, Chii is just oh so damn cute!
^_^
What are your thoughts on this anime?

I liked Chobits quite a bit. Unreasonable as it may be, I do wish the story had developed Chii's character in a slightly more human manner. She was incredibly cute, but I never felt like I was able to connect or empathize with her. She stayed far to alien, in my opinion.
When I become an Evil Overlord my Legions of Terror will be an equal-opportunity employer. Conversely, when it is prophesied that no man can defeat me, I will keep in mind the increasing number of non-traditional gender roles.

I've seen all of the Chobits anime (got it on E-bay)...and personally I prefer the manga. It's a lot funnier. The anime is good though but the story progresses slowly you could say...alota fillers...
...heh...Zima and Dita are my favorites though. They came in the 3rd manga but were in only mainly the final episodes of the anime. Not much air time...don't matter...I reccomend Chobits highly...

In dwelling, be close to the land.
In meditation, go deep in the heart.
In dealing with others, be gentle and kind.
In speech, be true.
In ruling, be just."
