What Happened to To Love Ru ?

Season 1 seemed to end with LaLa's Father setting
a challenge to Rito's devotion to her.

Season 2 & 3 actually developed a believable story
by introducing lala's OVA twin younger sisters:


A 2nd OVA and 4th season didn't fit the 2nd and
3rd Season at all! It seemed to be trying to explain
what we already knew with truly horrid statements:


Considering that they actually had a storyline to
follow, I'm curious "what's going on with this Anime!"?

? hmm, no plot; just 2 of the 4 series making sence ...
must be dropped or discontinued then - bummer!

Honestly, Black Cat is so much better.

Same person, less ecchi, more of a great story. Read the Manga though, the anime is mediocre in comparison.

Yeah, I kinda got the impression To love Ru was ecchi looking for a slim plot.

The Ecchi part happens by accident. The subjects I'm interested in are some of the expressions that the writer uses as Standards in dialogue between girls.
( i.e. he looses his balance, falls towards her only to end-up underneath her shirt and to get her to response, "The Elements Of Physics by law Don't seem to apply to you; do they?!??) - this type of Ecchi is 'just not available in Black Cat.
Standard Ecchi Anime, like Love Hina or InuYasha are too canned ( predictably irrational fear ) -vs- what I live-for.
