Now I know some of you may have heard about AnimeUnity on YouTube; but if you don't know by this point, it's basically an AMV community-based channel sharing fan-made videos from other editors throughout the internet. I've been meaning to ask this from the beginning, but I had a feeling someone on the forums would pick on me saying something like, "You just want to make money off of AMVs"
Anywho, what are your thoughts on it? For me, I personally don't mind community-based channels like AnimeUnity, (sharing other people's edits and giving credit where it's due). It has helped me find new anime, songs, and AMV editors. Although the only problem I have with this is, of course, their verification and monetized videos on social media sites such as YouTube..

How is she/he monetizing other people's edits and the original copyrighted material on their channel? One possible way I believe is by partnering with a third-party YouTube network, but I may be totally wrong.
What are your thoughts?
