How many are we talking? At a prior SJ AMV contest we got up to 130 entries.

How many are we talking? A prior AMV contest SJ got up to 130 entries.

Eh, not quite THAT many. We had about 50 or so, not counting the instant autodisqualifications. Still about 30% more than any other contest we've done yet, and we had to cut about half of 'em to get it down to the 2.5 hour mark.

Judging the Nationals was waaaay harder, though. Comparing awesome videos to each other is tough.

To everyone here at the org, out of curiosity, how many of y'all (particularly those we still owe certificates to >_>;;) are planning on being there at the San Japan Regionals or the Nationals?

And I'm super happy that In the Rain got to participate in the final event. What a weird, dumb, and magical video, set to a weird, dumb, and magical song. I had a blast making it, and I'm glad it's well received (if not by Ghibli and their copyright claims on Youtube).
