Hunter x Hunter「AMV」 - Still Worth Fighting For ᴴᴰ

Post by Kaizoku22 » Mon Jun 29, 2015 4:23 pm

So this video on Hunter x Hunter 2011 was my first AMV and it took quite some time because I was learning during the whole process of editing but it came out pretty decent to me. Let me know your thoughts on it

I'll be making more and with different anime too. Next one is probably going to be One Piece.
If you enjoyed, stay tuned for future videos and hit that sub button

Wow, my first vid definitely didn't look anything like that. It was a great first shot at it.

IMO, I would work on your transitions more, some were good, some were a bit iffy. The flow at points was excellent, but I would definitely work on the overall flow of the AMV.

It was a nice watch

your editing was pretty solid and extremely good for a first video. You shouldn't really put your name in the corner of the video though. A lot of people do that on youtube because they think that it will prevent people from stealing their video, but it really doesn't. If someone really wanted to take your video, they'd just zoom in and crop off that section.

But anyway, my main complaint about this vid is that its a but unfocused and the events don't feel connected to eachother. But besides from that, really great job on your first vid

I appreciate the constructive criticism and I'll work on that. You might have overlooked this but towards the end where it quietens down - I used a flashback of Gon and Kite talking and then using the scenes where Gon destroys Pitou in revenge when the music picks back up. My main focus while editing was the synchronization with the music and the heavy beats. And won't the video (if stolen) be of lower quality when cropped out. I knew they could do it but I thought the quality would drop in the process for them. So that's kind of why lol and again, thanks a lot for providing feedback
