well went through my e-mail and happened to get a message regarding this contest as i apparently entered last year - being i always tend to forget all the cons i submit to..when a finalist list comes out.. and i'm just not good enough or lucky enough to make it on..

I'm sure i asked the same question last year..... and with the rules basically answering it with a no.. but figure may as well ask anyway...

according the rule: AMV must contain at least 70% anime, manga, or video game footage. - I'm assuming other animated shows would not be allowed...unless they were within the 30% of the other categories? So the main question would be .. aside from the obvious rule above, is would you accept a video consisting of other shows that may or may not be anime inspired \? E.G. Avatar/legend of Korra, Dan vs, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop..ect...

being i haven't edited an actual AMV in over a year... i tend to start some.. then just never finish them.. or get distracted by other videos or ideas....

but if you need more videos for the categories and are willing to accept a couple non-anime videos - i've got a few i could submit!

Yep, if 30% of your video consisted of non-Japanese animation, that would be fine. 30% live action would even be okay.

We'll gladly take non-Japanese MVs for exhibition, but at this time we can't accept them to compete. I'm sorry.
