Blacklisted Conventions?

I'm new here and I was just wondering what are the blacklisted anime conventions for AMV editors?

Some editors have certain contests they won't enter for personal reasons, but there aren't 'official' blacklists for conventions or anything of the like. (As far as I'm aware of, anyway.)

Even if there were, there are too many award obsessed people who would cross the line at the drop of a hat when they saw no competition that it wouldn't much matter.

Coordinators who horribly mishandle the promotion of their contests do far more harm than anything editors could organize.

Alright I just wanted to make sure (again, I'm brand new haha) I'll research the conventions beforehand on my own time to make sure that I personally find them okay to submit my work to. Thanks everyone!

I saw that one of the threads on this forum was about a convention that took AMV's and used them without the editor's knowledge in their contest and everyone was talking about blacklisting them and such.

I see. No such blacklist is promoted on this site. Those are personal choices left up to the individual editors. Good luck
