So let me get this straight, some of you guys object to videos everytime some else uses the same song. I have seen both videos by Gorz and Kirapet and personally they look nothing a like. I could go out and look up tons of videos and say all of you have taken materials from others. Personally you have no proof at all that anything has been taken. I thought AMVs were a way of expressing your love of anime and music. Now I see for some that its just your way of showing that you can do it and if anyone else tries to use the same song and or certain materials you can rip on them saying they stole it.

We don't have problems with people using the same song, it happens all the time. We don't own a song, we didn't make the song. What we do is purely because we are fans of anime

Editors are welcome to use the same scenes and same song. MY beef is when people download other people's AMVs and use it in their own, instead of downloading the original anime and editing that. It's essentially like someone saw the Mona Lisa and liked it, added a few patches of grass in Microsoft Paint, and called it their own.

As members, they will all have different opinions, officials should talk about it instead of us all so they can actually do something about it, we'll all just argue more and more which will lead things nowhere, since there are two points of argument instead of one; the party is claiming something which the other party ain't in approval.
