AIDS is capitalized.
AIDS cannot be transmitted through leeches, the virus is too unstable, and cannot infect these parasites. Additionally, any blood they might carry from one host to another would be too minute to present a realistic threat for the transmission of the AIDS virus. Additionally, a mosquito bite is more of an onnoyance than a leech bite, as they cause itchiness and swelling around the bite area and carry diseases. Leeches don't cause a reaction, don't carry diseases and don't stick around long. A hungry leech drinks about 10 times its weight in blood and then drops off.

-ANY blood transfusion, regardless of size, can transmit AIDS. Howver, I believe the virus is, as you said, to unstable to be transmitted via animal contact.

I plan on throwing some green his way on my next paycheck. I probably won't put anything up in the golden donut for awhile, but I'd rather give phade my money than those ethiopian kids.
