Let me read you something. "Kim and Joe's Fight".

This is from a girl in my Drama class. I am paired up with her. The object was to produce a short skit to perform in front of the class. I am copying it directly from the paper she handed me. This is also the girl who thought that the word "Fight" was spelled with a silent L.

Here is what she wrote: (She was being arrogant about it, too.)

Kim and Joe are going to the mall they both want the same parking space.

Kim- There is a front parking space

Joe- I find a parking space Jim right in front.

Kim- "Beep" Hey I was here first.

Joe- No I think I was here before you were

Kim- No I was so you need to go so leave.

Joe- you were coming around the corner .when I was already here.

Kim-Look only one of us can have the parking space and the other is got to find another parking space so it's going to be me or you.

Joe-Well I'm not going to move I've been Driving for 2 Hours.

Kim- So I've been driving for 3 hours. I've been on the road for more hours then you.

Joe- So that dose not matter. What dose that have to do with the parking space.

Kim-What ever It dose matter.

Kim- I'm not going to move so that is that.

Joe- Well I'm not going any where and that is that too.

Joe-So we will be here till one of us leaves and goes to find another Parking space.

Kim-look I don't have time to be playing these games.

Joe- I don't have time either so leave.

Joe- I've got to be home before 7:30

Kim-Well sense you will not move I will because I'm not trying to be here all night.

Joe- bye then leave see you later.

Kim- Look I find a parking space right over there. You take that one and I'll take this one over here.

Joe- See if you would have looked we would not had to get in a fight.

Kim- Whatever I f you would have looked we would not be fighting.

Joe- Look if you don't get in your car you won't get that parking space.

Kim- I am going to get that parking space so be quieted

Joe- Bye leave go get your parking space.

Kim- I'm going to leave now. So see you.

Kim lifted and got her parking space and Joe got his parking space

Yes on the first one, and she seems to be in normal mental condition... I think she will be upset to see that I rewrote the whole thing, but if she gets too pissy, I'll pull out the old copy, and read it so loud the whole class can hear.

usually when skim-reading (like with most posts on say doom9 or here when theyre boring) I can form complete thoughts out of the sentances just by glancing at them and picking up particular words in certain orders. When you try doing that with this article.. it just... makes no sense..
