But I also need it to calculate the chance to make a video = Motivation * Time - Lazyness - Shitlevel of Song
where Motivation is my Motivation Level from 0-100, Time is enough(1) - none (0), Lazyness Level like Shitlevel of Song also 0-100
Depending on how my Brain's doing this Lazyness and Motivation Level varies a lot.

What's the reasoning between not allowing us to upload our videos until after judging when there's a downloadable AND a youtube copy already uploaded?

Re: The Quickening - Rules
In addition to this reason I want the focus to be on the contest itself for at least a couple days while the judging is happening. It's similar to the way a lot of other contests have exclusive videos where you can only get them from their sources for at least a short period of time before they're released to the world and reposted on every website around. It brings a bit of traffic to the original host and it generates additional attention for the event itself. I understand this might mean editors are losing out on a couple views and downloads on their personal accounts but I'm sure they'll recover from the loss.Ileia wrote:What's the reasoning between not allowing us to upload our videos until after judging when there's a downloadable AND a youtube copy already uploaded?

Re: The Quickening - Rules
If it's about garnering attention, it'd probably go a long way if you advertised the Youtube playlist in the announcements along with the downloads. People are 10x more likely to click that than to download a half a gig of video in a pack. You can encourage the editors involved to link to that as their video if they're wanting to share them (I've already done so) and such to help get it out there. There's a bigger audience on Youtube than here. But you can draw them here by giving the Youtube channel information about what the contest is, filling out the anime/song used on the videos, the editors, links back to the forums for results, etc etc.
