There isn't much info on it quite yet. I think danny has the song all picked out.
I am going to probably talk with him further and stuff about it and all o_O.
WE, well I, atleast want to make the video much tighter and seemless. So I have some ideas for doing that, but it requires more work on our parts and I don't know about Danny, but I am a lazy SOB. Well and Danny drinks too much Corona... Anyways...
It's in the works, but nothing solid yet.

Who said anything about progressive video editing :p
I said tighter video :p
This means, standardized transitions, variable audio chunks, better anime management....
Though the segments were good, Excel Saga fading into vampire hunter D is kinda O_o
I don't think I would ever want to do a progressive video with everyone slowly adding onto the last persons work. Just seems like a bad idea and how it would technically be accomplished while maintaining quality?? :O
Hehe imagine a xvid file being recompressed 20 different times....

well I wasn't saying that you came up with it, I meant generally the idea of a progressive video. But you're right I forgot internet connections suck and cant transfer huffyuv video around all over the place although there are ways around that (each new segment is encoded once and then joined onto the previous etc)

Yep, that would suck.klinky wrote:Hehe imagine a xvid file being recompressed 20 different times....![]()
That, and people like me on slower machines (I have a Pentium II 400MHz) can't play the XviD video well. The video goes slow while the audio plays at normal speed. I have to open MI:1 in VirtualDub and run a 2-pass DivX 5 encode so that I could watch it with the same amount of quality
