hey if dbz is what ure good at makin vids 4 don't stop...just make sure each vid u do is innovative in some way...
It doesn't matter whether u make a dbz vid or not...a good vid is a god vid...and it'll get the respect it deserves(assuming) u make a good vid...i know a good song..but i don't remember the name at the moment..i'll get back to u on that

Okay I had an idea for an AMV, and the first anime that came to mind was DBZ. But I don't have any DBZ footage, and haven't even watched the series (Yeah me!). So then I thought Sailor Moon... nah... Then I couldn't find the music... so well... Here is my suggestion for anyone to steal...

Suggested Title: So many minutes of Torture

Anime: DBZ

Music: Richard Simmon's Sweating to the Oldies.

I don't think this one's been done yet, since it'd be an AMV that I'd do, and most people don't do what I do(I have no idea why) so here it is anyway:

Anime: Bardock: The Father of Goku

Idea: The curse fo seeing the future.

2nd Idea: The curse of having all your teammates die.

3rd Idea: The curse of having your leader trying to kill you without talking to you about it

4th Idea: A little kid called a prince who's "The best"(Vegeta dedication vid)

5th Idea: The Curse of EVeryone thinking you're crazy because you tell them that Freiza's going to destroy them all!(This could very well be a second part of an AMV with Idea #1)

6th Idea: Never going to see your baby, and when you finally do, you think it's a worthless piece of crap.

7th Idea: [sarcasm]Fight! Fight! Fight![/sarcasm]

I think that's a list you can choose something from.

Um, I don't have any songs for these ideas, I think others or maybe you can think of some.

*shakes head* Out of personal prefence and a brand of sanity that I can't seem to attach my boyfriend to, I avoid DBZ AMVs like the plauge in general. Off the top of my head, out of the almost two hundred AMVs I have collected, only FIVE are DBZ. One I haven't gotten around to deleting, one was given to me by my Boyfriend, so I am oblicated to keep it, one I like the song to, so I listen to it as opposed to watch. The last two ARE AWSOME!!! One is Moment of Truth by Smoothe Studios, and the second, by Newlight Productions is "Scatman: The Definitve Biography". My suggestion is go out and get a good feel for what the average people do. Then do somthing else *duh*. Watch the masters. Do somthing unexpected. The one to "Scatman" was awsome because it was so completely unexpected, the timing was good, and the video qualtiy was good. And it made me laugh at some points, but was serous at others. "Moment of Truth" really got my blood pummping, though the repition was grinding toward the end. Try focasing on someone who hasn't been explored well; like Krillan. He's so short, no one seems to notice him. Try somthing like Rabbit in the Moon's "Out of Body Experence". Now there's an entrancing song! And you can edit it to almost any lenght. And TIME IT WELL! Ok, now that half the people following the thread are asleep, I think I'll go to bed.

The Idea of an AMV focusing on how Bardock can see the future has been done. By me. It's to "Sneak The Future" from JSRF, and was my submittion into the project. You can watch the crappy version now, or wait for the good DVD Quality avi version when the whole JSR/JSRF Project is realeased.
