Each contestant will have two hours to create an AMV that doesn't suck and adheres to the theme "EPIC CONFRONTATION". You can tell it's serious business by the size of my letters and having seen a few letters in your time. Only ONE editor will emerge victorious.
How?
Each contestant will be given 5 anime sources, and all five must be used. Each contestant is allowed to cut their audio ahead of time and bring it with them to the event. They may bring multiple tracks if they so desire, as no audio will be provided during the event. In addition, each editor must use at least 1 second of the secret ingredient.

Isn't this the same list as Otakon/AUSA 2013?
Great question. Glad I asked it. This is indeed the same theme and source list as Otakon/AUSA. Between the major undertaking that is Otakon's contest, and running the AMV Theater at AnimeUSA, there simply isn't enough time to bang out something new for Iron Editor without impacting something else. The secret ingredient will be different than the one used at either convention, and it will be awesome.
When and Where:
Saturday in the VAT, after the AMV Contest awards are done, whenever that is. As always, we'll have prizes and stuff for the audience too.
