We have gotten a few questions about this so I'll clarify here.

Yes, we do plan to continue the program of sending out badges to all editors who enter the contest so they can get early access seating to the AMV contest. However this only applies to qualified entries, so if your video is disqualified due to not following the rules, you will not receive one. The AMV judges staff also reserves the right to not allow an entry if we feel that it is of such poor quality and is only submitted so you can skip the lines.

Unlike previous years, badges will NOT be available on site, I have new responsibilities associated with the con and will not be available to extend "I forgot mine at home" accessibility.

Excuse me if I seem ignorant, but I've never heard of this practice at any con before. Are you saying that we get free admission to the convention if our videos are good enough?

Well, I'm uploading my second entry now, might go ahead and enter a third as well. Not sure if we'll be able to make the 13-hour drive from Dallas to Denver, but if we do, we'll see you there. ^^
