Anyone every seen an anime called Unico?

I used to watch it when I was a kid it. It was made back in about '82 or '83 and I've never met anyone who's seen it. It's about a little unicorn who goes around making everyone happy but the Greek Gods don't like him so the west wind moves him about all the time.

Please tell me if you have.

I saw it. I owned a tape of it and sold it for 30 bucks on Ebay not too long ago ^_^
I liked that, the Enchanted Journey and the Last Unicorn as well. But I think the Last Unicorn wasn't truly anime..it was more like the Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust for production background.

I could swear I saw a movie like that when I was 4 or 5 on the Disney channel (in other words, wayyy fucking back). It had a unicorn and cat creatures and a puppet who changed people into these blocky people and this girl and stuff. And yeah, he disappeared at the end and everyone was looking in the sky as if the wind took him...

After a little research, it was apparently <a href="http://stonegate.furvect.com/media/U/Un ... tml">Unico in the Island Of Magic</a>. That movie kicked ass. I think it was probably my first anime experience that I can recall.

And apologies for that site I linked to, it's a "furry" site (furries are people who are like Mroni, except that they get off to cartoon animals and the scary fetishes that get mixed in. A fascinating, strange, and wacked subgroup of both sexual fetishism and the Internet).

Anyhow, yeah, I've seen Unico.

The Enchanted Journey was one that people would probably remember better if they saw pictures of it.

It's about these two little chipmunks, one looks like a squirrel though, who are trying to escape captivity in the city and make it to a forrest where lots of other chipmunks live

Sounds pretty simple and it was released the year I was born. I remember watching it on tv as a child and happened to run across a copy as a teen.

I have both of the Unico films. It was my first anime too because I was only born in '85 although I only saw the second one a few years ago. I think my favourite will always be the first because I watched it as a kid. Didn't you just love Baron de Ghost, he was damn cool especially when he said, "You have a lovely voice"

Brilliant, I'm so glad that someone other than me and my brother has seen its glory.

Holy crap! I just found a VHS of it on sunday! It was played on the disney channel in like, the early 90's? It looks ok... I don't remember watching it, though.
