I know nothing about the games, but definitely enjoyed browsing through the images when I did a quick search 
Did the game actually have interesting story/characters? Because if it's just fanservice then I don't see the anime pushing the bar up much more, not that there's anything wrong with a fanservice series

This could turn out to be quite good if you are a fan of the games and I hope they keep the humour and references throughout. Will just have to wait and see how this goes down but with no Compa, IF and co.(at least not that we can see) i'm not too sure if it will keep the charm of the games.
