AMV Creators Vs. Coplayers

Post by SpPANDA » Sun Dec 29, 2002 12:54 am

hmmm... who would win?
i mean.. sure there was some clashing between the two on their forum not to long ago. but if everyone went at it... who would win?

and where are the amv creators that cosplay?!
do they exist?

an inside source told me the admins of the cosplayers called the amv community
"Goobs"

i laughed hard.
i thought it humorous.

AMVers would soooo loose, I mean look at this pic
Image
Thet have TERRY and ANDY BOGARD acting as enforcers. Look at that. They're kicking the crap out of some poorly dressed chump pretending to be Pikachu. That is viscious, man, viscious. I don't think we could stand up to that.

Which one is more practical? AMV making can potentially lead to a career in video work (and at the very least you can learn some all around useful general video information).

Cosplaying...well, let's just say the market for fantasy actors (which most cosplayers have little shot at doing because THEY SUCK at it) and costume makers (same, a lot of the time) is very small.

AMV making, hands down.
I'm out...

sadly, faye is a fat black asian man with halatosis and an unusually strange liking for small children. all in all, amv creators = anime cosplayers. statistics are as follows:

1. AMV creators coined the term 'lincoln ball z' videos because of their hatred for lincoln park and dragon ball z.

2. cosplayers dress up as members of lincoln park and dragon ball z.

winner: AMV creators

1. AMV creators are small, pale, and incredibly brittle/alergic to people.

2. cosplayers look nothing like the people they dress up as.

winner: cosplayers

1. ErMac shine.

2. Image

winner: NEITHER.

1. watch anime.

2. watch anime.

winner: my cat.

1. most create horrible amvs.

2. most create horrible children.

winner: cosplayers.

1. jack off to tentacle rape.

2. dress up as the tentacles.

winner: AMV creators.

Final Tally: Tie

AMV'rs would win .. for the sole reason now that i am a n00b of the community .. i will back you guys and utterly decimate the opposition with atomic wedgies on a scale not yet witnessed by human eyes :)
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

I do both cosplay and amvs. Although I don't do very much cosplay at all.

I know Nic Neidenbach also does cosplay, he had a kickass costume of Kagato:

Considering the weapons thread, I'd say AMV would win. It has some SERIOUS psychos on it's side who know their hardware.

We got da tools and da talent.
Shut the Hell up! You're fuckin' my Chi!
