Hey..i just wanted to know what is some basic stuff i would need to get videos of my dvd's i wanna use some footage from them but i don't know where to start.. i know i need some kinda of capture card or somthing ..but hey i'm totaly new at this 3 words.. "window's movie maker"

and dl stuff..

not the very best hu? so just wanted to know what i should getto start off better thanks

If you've got DVDs, then you're better off getting (or using if you already have it) a DVD-ROM. You can use the DVD-ROM to take your video straight from DVD and edit it directly, rather than losing quality by going DVD-->Capture Card-->Edit on Computer. If you read ErMaC's Guide it'll tell you how best do it.[/url]
