when something is refered to has a law they usually want to make it sound fancy... dont know why, all they do is confuse

Basically, Godwin's law states that sooner or later in most debates, the "Nazi card" will be played (Something the Nazis did or believed, etcetera is used to make a point), and at that point the debate is over, and the person who used the Nazi card is the loser.

I would say that calling someone a Nazi does not Godwin anything, but it is a sign of immaturity/a losing debate/a pointless troll.
