Why watch anime?
hrm, my alternitves is Australian Soap Opera and I haven't lost all of my brain cells via random toxins i found underneath the sink like the standard TV Junkie. Thus most television i can't stomache.
Anime makes me laugh, I just started Buying Excel Saga on DVD.
Thats.... twisted.......

I watch anime just to separate myself from the real world for a while. It's
cheaper than drugs and well....... With the amount of posts on this thread I think everything else is covered!

Anime definitely something to get the adrenaline rushing, and if not, something that's normally interesting enough to hold your attention. Well, at least mine.

Also I love it because the impossible all of a sudden becaomes possible. Amzing feats are accomplished at the most unlikely times. This is a way of giving hope to those who have lost their own. Continuing to keep up the optimistic ways!

I watch anime because Kitsune and Motoko are the coolest characters EVAR! ^_^ Plus, on Cowboy Bebop, Ed, who is a young girl, gets to live with adults, use weapons, and capture criminals. Wouldn't that be illegal in the real world?

There are A LOT of things that are illegal in the real world that happen in anime......like all that "all characters depicted are at least 19 and above" BS.
