I think that Star Wars as a whole is shit. The only thing remotely redeaming about the whole thing is the Jedi concept. A futuristic samurai with a sword that'll cut anything and supernatural abilities. It's at least better then Star Trek though. Oh, the horror that is this crap soup.

It's actually kind of funny. I was really looking forward to Episode 1. Didn't want to see Episode 2 quite as much after seeing 1. Now, I couldn't care less if 3 comes out or not. Lucas is really slipping......sad really.

Lucas slipping?? when did he even stand in your eyes?? what has he made <i>other</i> than Star Wars???

Won't even comment on the Star Trek hatin'... I'm no trekkie or SW-head (whatever their called... or just geeks ;-p) but I can agree with quality when I see it.

Like I said...I was at least looking forward to Episode 1, now I ain't looking forward to any of his shit. He has made other movies other than Star Wars. They all bombed though cause he sucks!

Wait a minute he made Indiana Jones also(No cutting on raiders of the lost ark please) he is slipping bad now. Star wars was cool it's not anymore. As for Star trek the original was fun and so was some of the newer stuff but the amount of political correctness in it makes you want to hurl. I prefer Doctor who over both of the above mentioned shows. And Nadesico and Crest of the stars over that.

Lucas merely produced, Spielberg directed the Indi movies, meaning that George would suggest something and Steve would smack him and say, that is dumb, let's do it this way 'cause people will like it. Unfortunately, Lucas had no one doing that to him during the last two SW movies.

The best Trek movies are the even ones, no one seems to be able to explain this but it's always the odd ones that suck.
